In the video Silver Investors Find Bubble Wildly Exaggerated we talked about how the TV pundits who were talking about the end of the silver bubble had it all wrong. The fundamentals for silver remained strong and were increasing demand while silver supply was not keeping up. The world has been drawing down on its above ground silver stocks to meet demand for 16 years and mined silver has not kept up.
In this video noted silver expert David Morgan talks about the coming shortage of Silver Eagles with a twist. By law silver eagles must be produced with domestically mined silver and US production of silver has not been sufficient to meet demand. So unless the law is changed or US silver production dramatically increases we are going to be coming to a point where there won?t be enough silver eagles produced to meet the demand. The problem with increasing US production is that all of the silver in the US that was easy to find and inexpensive to mine has been exhausted. Much of it was used for industrial uses and has been consumed.
