Personal finance classes will be offered to inmates at the Sedgwick County Jail.
The Consumer Credit Counseling Services will begin teaching classes to inmates on how to manage their personal finances from saving money to clearing financial debt.
The goals are to help inmates work through financial difficulties and reverse the trend of some inmates returning to jail because of poor financial decisions. The classes begin May 24th.
